Every time I close a deal, I buy a pair of heels (or shoes, sneakers, boots) and name them after the street of the home that sold. My very first sale was on Sandling, so the first pair was hot pink. By my fifth deal, down in Carlsbad, I was naming a pair the Carrillo heels. I have kept the tradition on every deal since, and these days I often let my clients pick the pair out themselves. I am still working on my husband for more closet space.
